Multiway, your way
Most jewellery does one thing. Ours does everything.
Multiway is the heart of Raven James. Our founder, Fleur de Force, built the brand around jewellery you can add to, swap and restyle, so your pieces move with your life rather than sitting in a drawer.
Add a pendant, swap a charm, or join two chains into one long layer, so every piece in your jewellery box works a little bit harder for you.
Our earrings are multiway too. Our huggies and hoops take our interchangeable earring charms, and many are reversible, with silver on one side and gold on the other.

The Triple Clasp
The Triple Clasp is our signature, and the secret behind every Multiway look.
There are three clasps at the front: a lobster clasp on each side, and a central oval clasp that works almost like a gate. The lobsters slide on and off it, and everything else connects to it.
Add a pendant. It clicks right on.
Wear it as a lariat. Take one lobster off and clip it a little further up the chain. A really easy way to update your look.
Make a statement. Thread a longer chain through the central ring, fasten the lobsters back on, and you have one piece with multiple chains.
Go longer. Click two bracelets together to make a necklace, or join your chains together.
With or without the ring. Take the central clasp off and your chain sits about 1.5cm shorter.
Every chain and beaded necklace, apart from our fine IVY chain, has the Triple Clasp. It makes each piece in your jewellery box work a little bit harder for you.
The art of layering
We get asked so much about lengths, so here is how we layer them.
Start with LULU. It is one of the best foundation necklaces for layering, and sits beautifully just above the collarbone. RIVER sits slightly under it, then TABITHA, our most popular length, just below that. Add any of our pendants to any of them.
For an extra long length, click two or three bracelets together.
And because of our Triple Clasp, you can connect any of our chains together and add any pendant, so you can really create your own unique stack.
Our materials
Recycled sterling silver
Our silver pieces are crafted from recycled 925 sterling silver, finished with rhodium plating for a bright, lasting shine.
18ct gold vermeil
A thick layer of 18ct gold over recycled sterling silver. The look and feel of fine jewellery, made for everyday wear.
18ct gold plated brass
Recycled brass, plated in 18ct gold for that warm, antique-inspired finish.
Stones, pearls and crystals
We set our designs with natural gemstones, freshwater pearls and sparkling crystals. Every natural stone is unique, so colour and pattern will vary beautifully from piece to piece.
Made with care
Every piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Jaipur, in workshops approved by the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Pomegranate Quartz
A stone of passion and vitality. Said to reignite confidence, creativity and a renewed sense of drive.
Peruvian Blue Opal
The stone of calm and communication, echoing the serenity of the sea. Said to soothe the mind, ease tension and encourage clear, honest expression.
Pink Opal
A gentle stone of the heart, known for compassion and emotional healing. Said to calm worry, soften the spirit and invite renewal.
Teal Quartz
A stone of balance and serenity. Said to bring a sense of calm, harmony and clear-headed focus.
Lilac Quartz
Believed to relieve stress, anxiety, and emotional tension. Said to encourage spiritual awareness and higher connection.
Lapis Lazuli
The stone of truth and wisdom, prized since antiquity for its deep celestial blue. Said to encourage clarity of thought, honest self-expression and quiet inner confidence.
Tiger's Eye
A grounding stone of courage, strength and protection. Said to sharpen focus, steady the mind and help you move forward with confidence.
Apatite
The stone of ambition and clarity. Said to fuel motivation, spark fresh ideas and keep you focused on your goals.
Strawberry Quartz
A stone of love and gratitude, carrying a warm, uplifting energy. Said to nurture self-worth, contentment and an open heart.
Aqua Terra Jasper
A deeply calming gemstone valued for fostering inner peace, emotional balance and aura protection.
Sizes & lengths
Necklaces
- 41 to 42cm: sits neatly at the collarbone. Like LULU.
- 44 to 45cm: falls just below, perfect with a pendant. Like RIVER.
- 49 to 50cm: rests on the chest. Like TABITHA.
- 55cm: the longest drop, made for gemstone beads. Like TILLY.
- Adjustable: IVY adjusts from 38 to 48cm.
The Triple Clasp. Every chain and beaded necklace, apart from IVY, has a removable 1.5cm ring at the centre. Fasten one of our 11cm chain extenders onto it for extra length, or use it to join two chains into one long layer.

Bracelets
Our bracelets measure around 19cm, a comfortable fit for most wrists, with room to stack.

Caring for your jewellery
Your pieces are made to be worn, and loved, every day. A little care goes a long way.
Last on, first off. Put your jewellery on after perfume, lotions, suncream and hairspray, and take it off before you swim, shower, head to the gym or go to sleep.
Give each piece its own space. Store your jewellery separately in its cotton pouch or box, somewhere cool and dry. It stops chains tangling and stones scratching, and keeping coloured stones out of direct sunlight helps them hold their colour.
A gentle clean
Sterling silver: a soft polishing cloth brings back its brightness in seconds.
Gold vermeil and gold plated pieces: wipe with a soft, dry cloth, or wash gently in mild soapy water, rinse and pat dry. Never use silver dip or abrasive cloths on gold pieces.
Pearls and natural stones: a soft, damp cloth only, and never soak them. Pearls love to be worn, so let them see the light often.
A note on colour
Like all precious metals, silver and gold react to the air, your skin and everyday life, so a gentle change in colour over time is completely natural. A soft polish usually brings back the shine. The gold on vermeil and plated pieces will mellow gradually with wear, and the more care you give it, the longer it keeps its warmth.
Our packaging
Every order is packed by hand, in packaging chosen to suit the pieces inside.
Pouches and boxes. Depending on what you order, your jewellery will arrive in one of our cotton pouches or in a Raven James box. Each is chosen to protect that particular piece on its journey to you, and both are made to be kept.
Plastic-free, always. Our packaging is plastic-free and made from recycled and recyclable materials wherever we can.
Boxes, tissue, cards and mailers can all go in your household paper recycling. The cotton-wrapped insert in our boxes is natural and biodegradable, so take it out first and pop it in your household waste.
Keep your pouch. Our unbleached cotton pouches are the perfect home for your pieces, at home or on the go.

Returns made simple
Changed your mind? You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to start a return.
- Go to account.ravenjames.co.uk and sign in with the email you ordered with.
- Choose the pieces you are sending back.
- Once your return is approved, we will email you where to send it. Please post it with Royal Mail within 14 days.
Pieces need to come back unworn and in their original packaging, and sets need to come back complete. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept earrings back unless they are faulty. Return postage is at your own expense unless your piece is faulty.
